Monastery of St George at Gremna.

The Monastery of St George at Gremna (at the precipices) is situated in a breath-taking pine covered area high above the sea close to the village of Anafonitria at the region of Volimes.
A walled-in plague by the entrance gate informs that it was built in 1568.
A path below the monastery leads to the cave in which St Gerasimos, patron saint of Kefalonia, lived as a hermit.
