Museum of Solomos, Kalvos and Eminent Zakynthians.
| The museum contains the mausoleums
of the great poets of Zakynthos, Dionysios Solomos (1798-1857) and Andreas
Kalvos (1792-1869). It also contains an important number of Solomos’ manuscripts and personal belongings as well as a rich collection of portraits of eminent Zakynthians. The exhibit includes period furniture and clothing, the blazons of Zakynthian nobles and a large collection of photographs. Location: St Markos Square, town of Zakynthos. |
